Kid's Central Director
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Kids Central will be responsible for leading and cultivating a warm, loving, and learning environment for the ongoing spiritual growth of CCC kids and their families.
LINE RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Lead Pastor & Director of Spiritual Formation
Works with: Lead Pastor, Director of Spiritual Formation, Kids Central Coordinator & Kids Central Volunteers
COMPENSATION:
The Kids Central Director will be compensated $2000 a month, for 20 hrs. a week of work ($25/hr)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This person will lead and manage CCC’s ministry to children (Birth-Elementary) and their families. They will coordinate and empower the various teachers and volunteers for the Children’s ministry and help grow the ministry in both depth and breadth to insure all children and have an opportunity to grow in their love for, and knowledge of Jesus.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• This person must have a personal, active, and growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
• This person must be in agreement with CCC’s doctrinal statement and statement of faith as well as general philosophy of ministry.
• This person must be a committed Christian leader with the general character guidelines for elder/deacon (I Tim. 3).
• Possess professional level technical skills to support the software platforms CCC uses.
• Fulfill duties in a timely and responsible manner.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Help cast vision for the discipleship of kids, students and families of CCC
• Select and implement weekly curriculum.
• Fine tune weekly class schedule for age appropriate learning.
• Recruit and train teachers and helpers for each classroom.
• Communicate necessary changes to Parents and CCC Community
• Oversee compliance to Kids Central Volunteer Policy Handbook
• Work with parents and key volunteers to implement necessary changes to cultivate ideal learning environment for kids.
