The storms surrounding me
Let it break at Your name

The rage in me to still
Every wave at Your name

Jesus Jesus You silence fear
Jesus Jesus You make the darkness tremble
Jesus Jesus
Verse 3
Breathe call these bones to live
Call these lungs to sing
Once again I will praise

Your name is a light that the shadows can’t deny
Your name cannot be overcome
Your name is alive forever lifted high
Your name cannot be overcome
Jesus We Love You
Verse 1
Old things have passed away
Your love has stayed the same
Your constant grace remains the cornerstone
Things that we thought were dead
Are breathing in life again
You cause your Son to shine on darkest nights
Pre-Chorus
For all that You’ve done we will pour out our love
This will be our anthem song

Oh how we love You
You are the one our hearts adore
Interlude
Our hearts adore
Our hearts adore
Our hearts adore
Verse 2
The hopeless have found their hope
The orphans now have a home
All that was lost has found its place in You
You lift our weary head
You make us strong instead
You took these rags and made us beautiful
Bridge
Our affection our devotion
Poured out on the feet of Jesus
(REPEAT 3X)
Worship for Sunday, March 15
CALL TO WORSHIP
Have someone read all of Psalm 133 and open the time up in prayer.
WORSHIP THROUGH SONG
If possible sing a few songs from a hymn book, or play, listen, or sing along to these suggested songs online:
CORPORATE PRAYER
For corporate prayer we are going to pray through the Lord’s prayer together. Everyone can say each line of the prayer out loud together and then pause for quiet reflection and personal prayer on the subject of each line.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name
(Pause and thank God for who He is and what he has done. Pray that he would be glorified in our lives and our world)
Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
(Pause and surrender anything you are holding on to that belongs to the Lord. Pray for His will in our lives and our world)
Give us this day our daily bread
(Pause and ask for any provision and need in your life and the lives of others)
And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors
(Pause to confess your sins as well as extending forgiveness to others)
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
(Pause and pray for protection and strength against temptation)
For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen
(Pause and thank God for his goodness and power and for His Kingdom to come)
Close this time of prayer by sharing with one another some prayer requests and spend some time praying for these specific needs.
SERMON
Ephesians 4:1-16 – Christian Unity
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
- What stood out to you from today’s text and sermon?
- Why is unity so important? How do we work for unity in the church today?
- Where do you see yourself growing in Christian maturity today? What challenges or false teaching do you need to watch out for?
- Where does our church need to grow towards maturity?
RECITING THE APOSTLE’S CREED
To close worship recite the Apostle’s Creed together:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Have someone read the benediction
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
