This Sunday June 7: A special message and all church prayer
Dear CCC Family,
It goes without saying that we are in very challenging and unprecedented times. These past two weeks have been heavy for us all. This Sunday I wanted to let you know that I am going to be addressing in my sermon the current crisis we are in and the theme of racial justice. I don’t always speak specifically to everything that happens in our world, but I feel strongly led to talk to you from my heart as your pastor as well as bring God’s word to bear on the moment we are in.
I also want to call our entire church to prayer, right after service. If you can, I would ask that you join me and Cristina via zoom for a guided prayer time starting at 11:30. This won’t be a free for all, but a time for us to reflect and respond. This will be a time to invite Jesus to have his way in us as well as our city and nation. The topic we are looking at is challenging, but we need not fear. Our God is with us, even in our brokenness and need. Here’s the link to join the prayer meeting at 11:30.
